Privacy

The short version

Ganuro helps you find local help and helps providers be found. We keep what you type private, we don't run ads or trackers, we never sell your enquiry or your identity, and providers publish only what they choose to publish.

What we collect, and why

• Searches. The need you describe and the place you choose. Your exact wording is stored as restricted content and is never shown publicly. When no provider matches, we keep a privacy-safe note that the need existed (service type and coarse area only — never tied to who searched) so future providers can see honest demand.
• Your account. Just your email address, used for one-time sign-in codes. There are no passwords.
• Provider listings. What a provider chooses to publish: name, description, service area, and contact details. Publishing is always the provider's own action, and a listing can be edited or taken down by its owner.
• Interactions. That a contact was revealed, appointment proposals, and completion confirmations. These power honest signals like “customer-confirmed jobs” — they are derived from real events, never from paid placement or public star ratings.
• Confidential feedback. Feedback about a provider stays private. It is never published as a review; it only contributes to aggregate trust signals.
• Feedback about Ganuro. Messages you send us from the feedback page, tied to your signed-in account so we can follow up. Never used for marketing.
• Safety reports. The reason you selected and a scrambled device signal used only to prevent duplicate reports.
• Technical protection. Rate limiting uses a scrambled form of your network address; the raw address is never stored. We run no analytics or advertising trackers.

Cookies

Essential cookies only: your sign-in session and short-lived security tokens that protect actions like revealing a provider's contact. No advertising or tracking cookies exist here, which is why there is no cookie banner.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your personal information, your enquiry, or your contact details.
• Show ads or accept paid placement in results.
• Publish your search text, your feedback, or your identity.
• Share individual enquiries with providers — you choose when to contact someone.

Aggregate, privacy-preserving statistics (for example, “cleaning demand is growing in this area”) may inform the product and, in future, market insights. These are always about patterns, never about identifiable people, and that boundary is a founding rule of the product.

Where your data lives, and your rights

Ganuro runs on established cloud infrastructure providers; data is stored in the European Union. You can ask us at any time to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — use the Send feedbackpage from your signed-in account and we'll act on it. We keep personal data only while it's needed to run the service or until you ask us to delete it.

Changes

If how Ganuro works changes, this page changes in the same release. Significant changes will be visible here with an updated date.
